The 10th Annual Foster5k is a cornerstone event in Silicon Valley dedicated to championing the cause of foster children in Santa Clara County. All proceeds support Child Advocates of Silicon Valley (CASV) and its Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program, dedicated to providing everlasting impact on our community's most vulnerable youth.

The Foster5K features a chip-timed race with the options for Kids 12 and under to participate in the Kids Dash, a fun-filled event designed just for kids! This untimed fun run features a 700 meter Big Kids Dash for youth ages 6 to 10 and a 250 meter Little Kids Dash for children ages 5 and under. 

Whether sprinting, jogging, or skipping to the finish line, everyone can have a good time and support our community's foster youth along the way. See you there!

5K Overall Awards

First place finishers in the male, female and all-gender/non-binary categories will receive a pair of SHOKZ headphones.

1st - 3rd place finishers in all other Age Divisions will receive recognition

Big & Little Kids Dash

Big Kids Dash is a 700 meter run for youth ages 6 to 10

Little Kids Dash is a 250 meter run for youth ages 5 and under

All Kids dash participants will receive a medal and a goodie bag!  

Little Kids Run for Free!

NEW this year, little ones 5 and under run for free!  We ask that they still register so they can get their very own bib and medal.

T-shirts will be sold separately.
