Run for Hope, Stand for Change 

The 10th Annual Foster5K celebrates a decade of community impact. Amidst a critical funding crisis, your participation ensures we can continue providing advocates for foster youth who have experienced trauma. On Sunday, May 17, 2026, we gather at Martial Cottle Park to turn steps into hope.

Ways to Move:

• 5K Run/Walk: A chip-timed race for all ages and abilities at Martial Cottle Park.

• Kids Dash: Fun runs for ages 12 and under, featuring a 700m sprint for "Big Kids" (ages 6–10) and a 250m dash for our "Little Kids" (ages 5 and under).

Whether you sprint, jog, or skip, you are running for their future. Join us and stand for change!

5K Overall Awards

First place finishers in the male, female and all-gender/non-binary categories will receive a pair of SHOKZ headphones.

1st - 3rd place finishers in all other Age Divisions will receive recognition

Big & Little Kids Dash

Big Kids Dash is a 700 meter run for youth ages 6 to 10

Little Kids Dash is a 250 meter run for youth ages 5 and under

All Kids dash participants will receive a medal and a goodie bag!  

Little Kids Run for Free!

NEW this year, little ones 5 and under run for free!  We ask that they still register so they can get their very own bib and medal.

T-shirts will be sold separately.
